Homemade Haircuts

Okay, so I finally got tired of shaggy doggies. I gave the pups baths and starter hair cuts yesterday. But, now they look pretty goofy, especially Maggie. Her face look real cute but her body still looks pretty fat. I think I'll have to go buy some clippers to even this out.

Book Club Anyone?

I listened to "The Night Circus" by Erin Morgenstern on my way to Farmington, NM. It was wonderful. This is one of the best book listening experiences I've had in a while. (I think listening to "Twilight" while driving to South Padre Island was the last good read/drive.) I couldn't wait to get back into the car to keep listening. Anyway, I just wanted to share this title. It was a little Harry Potter like . . . mysterious, fantasy. I highly recommend the audiobook version. The reader was excellent (British accent). I think I recognized the voice. Possible from Liminy Snicket and a Series of Unfortunate Events (movie) and Pushing Daisies (tv show).

Gearing Up for OU/TX

Got ready this morning for my friends Kevin and Kari's watch party. I decided to go a little farther than just an OU t-shirt. It was a lot of fun. I found a tutorial from MakeUpGeek on YouTube. It was inspired by Dr. Pepper but I think it works great for OU. What do you think? BOOMER SOONER!!

The Gift That Kept On Giving

For my birthday last year, Amy gave me three "credits" at Shoe Dazzle. It's been so fun each month to see what my "stylist" selected for me to choose from. The first picture is a white purse that I've used all spring and summer. Got so many compliments on it. The second picture is some boots. I haven't worn them yet, but plan to with my skinny jeans. The third picture is my brown purse that just came today. When I saw it online, I really like it. After I got it I realized why. It's a similar design as the white one with different details. Can't wait to start using it. Thanks, Amy!
